Compliance & Operations Director

Donna has a Master's Degree in Business Management & Entrepreneurship from Texas A&M University - Commerce. She has lived in Whitney, Texas for over 25 years. She is currently married to Tommy (an Army veteran who served in Operation Desert Storm) and together they share five children and 5 grandchildren.

Her professional resume shows over 20 years in retail management. The establishments varied from toys, high end jewelry, high end men's suits, men's casual clothing, grocery stores and sporting goods. The items sold may have been different but Donna understands that if any entity is to be successful it needs strong management and leadership.

Her skills and expertise helped her graduate from both Hill College and Texas A&M cum laude. While attending Hill College she was awarded Best All Around Student in both Humanities and Leadership. She was also inducted into Phi Theta Kappa. While attending Texas A&M she was awarded Senior Superlative Award and the President's Scholar Award and was accepted and inducted into The National Society of Leadership & Success.

Her community services consists of any activity or organization that involved her children. She has been room-mother and little league scorekeeper and coach. She successfully led a Girl Scout Troop which held top cookie sales in their region. She served as President for the Whitney Band Boosters where her leadership brought their concession stand up to state codes and she assisted the Band Director in keeping the kids in step. At the same time she also held the Chairperson position for the Whitney Jr/Sr Parent Committee. Here she led the group to successfully raise more than $8,000 a year with only two fundraisers. A few years later she was volunteered by an open session to lead the Whitney Cub Scout Pack into success, which she did.

Donna knows that in order to be successful one must have a team as well as be accountable and responsible for leading that team. Being a leader is as natural to her as breathing is.

Donna fully understand the plight of our veterans and their frustration. Her grandfather served in the Navy and was at Pearl Harbor. Her father was in the Army, his brother was in the Air Force. Her oldest son served in the Marine Corps during Operation Iraqi Freedom. She has nieces, nephews, in-laws and other extended family members currently serving our great nation.
